Founder & President
Matt Boutilier is the founder and President of TrueCoast Homes. A proud Mi’kmaq entrepreneur from Sheet Harbour, Nova Scotia, Matt brings over two decades of hands-on experience in construction and site development.
His vision for TrueCoast Homes is rooted in community, craftsmanship, and opportunity. Matt built the company to serve all of Nova Scotia by bringing together trusted crews, local insight, and a commitment to building homes that last. From remote coastal builds to urban developments, he leads with purpose and pride.
As an Indigenous business owner, Matt is passionate about creating space for Indigenous leadership in the trades and contributing to the long term growth of the communities he serves. His approach is direct, grounded, and always focused on building something meaningful from the ground up.
